Well I broke down and got a new sled. Picked up a 2010 M8 Sno Pro yesterday. Still have the Summit for Christina, but looking forward to the Cat. Just couldn't bring myself to liking the new Doo's and their non-efi 800's. Now, just waiting for snow * * *

The 2010 M8 sounds like it's going to be a great sled. I picked up a new 2009 800 Summit a couple weeks ago. Would have prefered fuel injection but the dealer assured me the altitude compensation works great, we'll just have to see.

Very cool Travis... You got it from Jerry at Clawson? He said you were up there. That's where I got mine, picked it up on Friday. Looking forward to riding..... better snow soon 
I was guessing you got yours there, they have a descent selection of sleds. Yes I dealt with Jerry and Kurt, both are great guys and very into the sport.

We are having a party and Video showing in Granada Hills today, saturday nov 14. 3 pm all your club and friends are welcome to hang with the So Cal Highmarkers Snowmobile Club today to discuss riding trips for this season and changes in the Mammoth area. chris 213 247 4777
Club ride - weekend of Dec 11-13. Probably in the Mammoth area. Will see what the storms bring this weekend, but sounds like 1-5 ft by the 12th. Could be a great powder weekend!!! Clear your schedule and go ride!!!
I plan on being in Mammoth Dec.12-13, working on finding a place to stay that has room for a truck and trailer. A sled deck would sure be nice!

I was thinking about trying to make it up there one day that weekend, I wonder how much snow they have?
a couple feet at the vista.... www.sugarloafers.com usually has updates. They are the local club for that area (Bakersfield)
Christina and I are heading up to Sherman on Sat. 26th. Will be going up the west side to wherever they quit plowing, and hit the trail around 9am.
