Southland Sno-Riders Snowmobile Club

Who We Are

Welcome

We are based all throughout Southern California, with members from the beach to the mountains and everywhere in between.  The club was formed to get riders in contact with others, plan trips, and promote safety. Also belonging to the California/Nevada Snowmobile Association helps to keep areas open and preserve the right to recreate in our public lands. Visit http://www.cnsa.net/ for more info and how to join.

Our trips vary in all levels of terrain and difficulty. Groomed trails, powder meadows, hill climbs, you can find it all in the Sierra Nevadas. We're open to all levels of experience and types of sleds, the main focus is getting people together and get out and ride!

Since snow is at a premium in So. Cal, most rides are in the Sierras, 3-6 hours away. South Sequoia/Sherman Pass, Sonora, Mammoth... just to name a few. North Nevada/Elko and Utah are good for long weekend trips. Most quick day trips are in the Sherman Pass area, north of Lake Isabella, it's the closest when driving up through Grapevine or Cajon Pass. Bring a trailer or camper and spend the night is an option many of us do.

Right now we don't have meetings, dues, or political structure, just a fun tool to communicate, plan trips, find other riders, and discover new areas to ride. All we ask is that you check out and join the Cal/Nev Snowmobile Association and help in keeping our riding areas open for us and future generations.
